Bugsy Siegel once owned a piece of El Cortez Hotel Casino before building the Flamingo Hotel on the Strip. This structure retains much of its original look and atmosphere from the early 1940s. While the atmosphere and charm are original, the guest rooms are cozy, modern, and comfortable. Since the Fremont Street Experience was built, this hotel is in a very good location, just a short block from the entrance. The casino is the longest running in all of Las Vegas and features all the classic slots and table games.
